When I look through my window, everything seems different.
There is an emptiness in the streets I've never seen before. Places that used
to be crowded and full of life are empty and desolate, like a movie set no
longer used. Nevertheless, San Franciscans withstand adversity, rediscovering
the beautiful places they no longer need to share with outsiders giving me a
sense of community I've never felt here before.
Feeling Blue presents my first photographic project after six months of
sheltering in place. The book shows the journey out of my home to discover
this new reality in San Francisco.
